What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email, optional phone number and your message. When you submit or claim a listing we collect your name, email and the business details you provide. We also store a hashed version of your IP address to stop spam.
Why we collect it
Enquiry details are shared with the gym you contacted so they can reply — that is the whole point of the form, and you consent to it before sending. Listing details are published in the directory. We never sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for 24 months so gyms can reference them, then deleted. Spam-protection records are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Email hello@findgyms.co.za and we'll action it within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions only. We do not run advertising trackers.
